Nowadays, the main way to improve power density is increasing the junction temperature of semiconductor devices and as a result, increasing the temperature of the heat sink. This results in a lower efficiency due to the high temperature caused by increasing power losses. To solve this problem, it’s possible to develop the heat sink for a specific system, or to optimize existing heat sink profiles. This paper presents an FEM-analysis describing thermal behavior of a bidirectional switch used in a direct matrix converter.

For the separation of conductive and non-conductive non-magnetic materials are used electrodynamic separators with permanent magnets and electromagnets. One of the ways of intensification of the process of separation is to increase the magnetic field strength in the separation zone. When separation of fine fractions, the problem arises of reducing the pole pitch of the magnetic system, which reduces the influence of magnetic field on shared materials. In this regard, there is a need to conduct research on the development of highly efficient magnetic systems.

There is discussed an influence of n-p-n HBT scaling on its RF performance in the article. The behaviour of cut-off and maximum frequency of DUT at the transition from 0.18 um down to 0.09 um BiCMOS technology is demonstrated, its dependence from construction and technological variations of the heterojunction bipolar transistor, as well. It was shown, that the approach called "direct" scaling appeared to be inappropriate as a frequency-increase method and some constructive and technological recommendations were discussed, including Ge profile shape, impact of deep collector implantation dose and cap-layer thickness.

The purpose of research - the study of tactical and procedural features of interrogation of persons with mental disorders. Methods. The methodological basis of the study constitute a universal method of knowledge, reflecting the dialectical relationship of theory and practice, as well as other proven methods of scientific research: the method of theoretical analysis of the sources of the problem, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, sociological, psychological and statistical methods (study and analysis of the content of the materials criminal cases and statistical data, questionnaires, survey). Results. Thus, analyzing the modern ideas of scientists and practitioners concerning the use of the terms "mental disorders", "mental illness", "mental deficiencies" and so on., We can conclude that it is more correct to use the term "mental disorder"; defects psyche available to all categories of persons under interrogation, it is a very complex and diverse phenomenon and should be the subject of study sciences such as criminal law, process, criminology, criminal law enforcement, forensic psychiatry and criminology; legal psychology.

Importance of cooperation of universities with machine-building enterprises from the point of view of an intensification of creation of objects of intellectual property is shown in article. The description of the valve design developed by authors for the main pipeline which allows to provide compensation of excessive pressure in an internal cavity when finding a lock in a closed position and heating of the case of a valve is given. The described design of a valve can be used as shutoff valves on pipelines of nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, main oil and gas pipelines.

The article reflects the modern problem of logging process relating to the development of hard-to-forest areas. A perspective for the development of hard-to-forest areas. Given the basic logistics for transporting wood using airships. A mathematical model to describe the performance of the airship to transport timber.The proposed mathematical model to determine the performance of airships in the development of hard-to-forest areas allows: to evaluate the effectiveness of airships in the development of different types of forest areas, choose the best option in the logistic scheme of transportation of timber, and therefore choose the technological equipment, to an economic assessment of the transport component of the timber with airships.

The purpose of this work was to study the influence of the structural and geometric parameters of the twist drill on the quality of the processed hole and productivity of machining the high strength polymeric composite material – glass fiber epoxy-based plastics that are reinforced by titanium foil. In the structure of high loaded polymeric composite parts the reinforcing layers made from the titanium foil are used. These titanium layers are placed between layers of the winding unidirectional glass fiber tape or the carbon fiber tape. In order to reach the required dimensional accuracy, the macro- and micro geometry of the hole surfaces, to eliminate the overheat, burning, and delaminations of material, need to use sharp-edged tools, which wear out quickly, and remove the drill from the workpiece at frequent intervals to clean the chips from the flutes of the drill and the hole being drilled. We studied the drilling of glass fiber reinforced laminates at the different schemes of sharpening the drills made from the high-speed steel. We present some experimental results of the optimal feed and speed for the studied twist drills, the dependencies of the highness parameters of roughness, and also characters and degree of delamination at starting and finishing hole for the different tools, feed and cutting speed.

Currently, special transport service airports are faced with the problem of rationing of fuel consumption of snow-removal equipment. This article presents the results of analysis of the structure and size of the park services, special transport Russian airports. Shows a diagram of the formation of fuel under the influence of factors of air temperature, precipitation and achievements attachments. View and mathematical model of the factors influencing fuel consumption. The mathematical model of the influence of factors on patterns of consumption. ECE Regulation №66 allows to use computer simulation to determine the durability and passive safety of buses in the rollover conditions for approval. The most common method of computer simulation is currently the finite element method (FEM). Simulation of contact interaction using FEM has several assumptions that are shown in the article. Since the bus is contacted with the rotating platform during rollover, assumptions in contact interaction modeling can lead to errors in load conditions determining and, as a consequence, inaccurate values of the bus body deformations can be obtained. Therefore, authors developed a mathematical model of bus motion, which occurs before the impact with the ditch surface. To confirm the accuracy of the systems of differential equations, the comparison of the results of mathematical modeling, FEM simulation and experiment using separate bus section are provided in the article.

The universal computerised complex for determination of quality characteristics of a dispensing of seeds by the apparatus of precise seeding is observed. The processing method of loggable signals is presented. The observed complex, with application of a metering equipment and a processing method of the data, allows to size up quality of operation of the sowing apparatus of precise seeding. In particular to define allocation of feed of seeds to which refers to droppings, one-piece feeds, two-piece feeds and feeds of the higher order. Also by means of a complex registration of amount of dosing elements and total of the gived seeds for experience is simultaneously led.

Abstract: Operation of motor transport and special equipment is carried out in difficult conditions, the impact of environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dust, wind, solar radiation) and changes in modes of operation of the machine. This affects the performance of equipment, the number and complexity of repairs. Away from fixed bases (in the field), the problem is particularly acute repairs. One of the most energy-intensive and expensive works are welding (welding parts with a break, welding cracks, fusing metal layer on the worn surface, metal cutting). In this work the welding equipment affect the voltage drops in the supply mains, therefore, produces a large number of failures such equipment. After the equipment is accompanied by an increased amount of electric power consumption, this results in material costs. Previously proposed equipment has improved mass, which reduces the efficiency of the welding. Based on this study was proposed innovative design welding inverter using the resonance effect, with enhanced reliability, low-cost design version (in terms of mass production). In order to improve the reliability and reduce the cost of the proposed design of inverter proposed a number of new approaches. Full-bridge inverter is studied welding power source with the implementation of the resonance effect with a stable and smooth operation, high reliability, because the circuit of the inverter is not sensitive to changes in the supply voltage.

based on an analysis of the methods and schemes snow removal from roads and sidewalks it revealed that there is a snow plow, which would be cleaned in a single pass only the side of the road in the middle of the road cleared. At the same time to solve this problem are also two cars. In accordance with this work set a goal: increasing productivity snowplows. To explore this issue were based on the analysis of working bodies of snow plows developed and investigated a new type of dump actuator for snow removal from roads. It was determined that there is an additional resource to increase machine productivity. This is achieved by improving the design of the working body. This will not increase the resistance of the machine, because proposed symmetrical design with rotating blade and sliding half, which will reduce the resistance and to ensure stability.

An experimental study of influencing of power supply voltage on characteristics of arbiter physical uncloneable functions (PUF) is presented. Arbiter PUF was implemented with 0,18 um CMOS process of JSC «MERI and Mikron». It was found that systematic process variations negatively impact on PUF uniqueness. Reducing the power voltage to threshold voltage levels improves PUF uniqueness. Besides, precision of power supply noticeably impacts on PUF robustness.

We examine how stem taper and the nonuniformity of bark along the trunk affect the efficiency of bundle mechanical decortication in drums.Such decortication enhances the performance of timber-preparation facilities.We demonstrate that the decortication of fast-taper longwood assortments may result in uneven barking along the trunks.Therefore, improvement of the technological process of longwood drum barking will diminish the offgrade portion of the chip and thus will result in better rates of competitiveness.Long size logs are often bent in barking drums. Further studies should take into account the resultant alternating strain in the bark, including stretching and compression. It also appears important to examine the effect of negative temperatures and bark moisture content on the resistance of the bark to the combined effect of stretching, compression, and impact shock.

In the article the work of the new local station "9 km" of the Krasnodar region and possibility of its use as the distributive terminal on approaches to ports is estimated. Shortcomings of a technical equipmente of the station are revealed and offers of technological character on elimination of consequences of these shortcomings are given. To exclude formation of trains to station Novorossiysk and to carry out a selection of ship parties at station Novorossiysk as by 2020 routing increase is predicted. In this regard, power is released, which is confirmed by the graphical modeling. To postpone the formation unloaded in the port of Novorossiysk cars to the station Krymskay to free station 9 km. To improve the planning system and to establish the liability of the participants in performing tasks to unload cargo. Special attention on solving the problem is given a multimodal logistics center, the activity of which is the use of information computer technologies. Besides offers on realization of polygon technology, as one of ways of improvement of operational work of railway transport are given.

One of the conditions of reducing the transport work cost is management of the automobile elements life on the basis of objective standards. In the conducted research, forming of the automobile elements life, according to seasonal variations of operational rate and conditions, is considered. A method of correcting coefficients determination was developed; it was based on estimated deterioration for each month, derived from the average deterioration rate of the friction linings and automobile running per month. Calculation of correction factors was carried out with the use of the imitating model. The obtained results allow modelling the braking system elements life, taking into account seasonal unevenness of requirement of them. Using that information, it is possible to correct spare parts requirement and, accordingly, to reduce cars downtime while waiting to be repaired, as well as volume of stocks.
