  • Arctic geopolitics of Russia in the context of cognitive modeling analysis of the current state

The article explores the problematic field associated with the political steps of the countries of Russia, the USA and the EU in the development of the Arctic shelf from the position of control over the division of both the Arctic spaces and from the point of view of positioning this territory as a strategic resource base. What are the likely geopolitical consequences that such changes may cause? Separately, the paper notes that at present there is a need either for investments in renewable energy sources, which can be considered as an effective way to eliminate the risk of heavy dependence on oil, or the development of Arctic spaces by countries.

  • Modern cybersecurity from the perspective of cognitive modeling

In the article, the authors examine the problem of ensuring cybersecurity in the modern world in terms of the study of social practices. The implemented cyber attacks are analyzed, and the danger of hacker attacks is shown. With a fair amount of evidence, it can be stated that in the modern world, the risks associated with cyber intrusions can include the loss or disclosure of consumer data, theft or disclosure of intellectual property, as well as the loss of investors as a result of the theft of funds or a decrease in the market value of companies subjected to cyber attacks. It is concluded that cybersecurity is a constantly evolving landscape, and now there is an urgent need to constantly learn from both our own experience and the experience of other companies countering cyber attacks effectively, and it is also important that successful interaction with adversaries in cyberspace requires a constant pursuit of a tactical, operational and strategic initiative.

  • Challenges to regional security and current global issues within the framework of cognitive modeling

In the article, the authors note that current threats, challenges, risks and related global problems, and the urgent need for the use of renewable energy sources is coming to the fore in the life of modern societies. It is highlighted that there is a necessity to treat technological progress in correlation with modern science in Russian society, and it should be noted that nowadays the current policy in the field of ensuring climate agreements is subject to legal uncertainty. The authors conduct cognitive modeling and construct a cognitive model.

  • Reflexively controlled cyber wars of our time from the perspective of cognitive modeling

In this paper, the authors consider the problem of reflexively controlled cyber wars of our time on the example of influence in cyberspace, which is currently both a medium for conflict and its tool. The implemented cyberattacks and the danger of hacker attacks are analyzed. Separately, it is noted that the risks associated with cyber intrusions may include the loss or disclosure of consumer data, theft or disclosure of intellectual property, as well as the loss of investors as a result of the theft of funds or a decrease in the market value of companies subjected to cyber attacks. It is concluded that cybersecurity is a constantly evolving landscape, and currently there is an urgent need to constantly learn both from our own experience and from the experience of other companies that effectively counteract cyber attacks. In addition, an important condition is that successful interaction with opponents in cyberspace requires constant striving

  • Comparative analysis of conflicts of the Soviet and modern youth space using cognitive modeling

The article is devoted to the analysis of issues related to conflict interaction in the youth environment of Soviet and Russian society. The aim of the study is to build a cognitive map of the model of the system “Conflict control (youth of the USSR)  conflict control (youth of Russia)”. The authors note that at present there is an urgent need to identify existing conflict situations in the youth environment of Russian society and at the same time it is logical to conduct an analysis based on a study of past years and those problems that were the cause of conflict situations in the youth environment in Soviet times. It is also noted that in modern social practices it is necessary to create effective mechanisms for countering conflicts, aimed primarily at reducing the level of risk in the modern youth environment. The methodological basis of the study. The research methodology is based on the principles of scientific research, as the principle of holism and the principle of objectivism. The work used the methods of systematic and comparative scientific research. Conclusions: in spite of the fact that it is not feasible to fully show all the questions outlined in the framework of one study (a similar goal was not set), the analysis of the processes associated with the study of conflitogenicity in the modern youth environment and the constructed cognitive model are of certain theoretical interest and require further work in the framework of this issue.
