  • Analysis of fault-tolerant data storage system simulators

Distributed data storage systems (DSS) are multi-parameter, complexly configurable systems. Fault tolerance and reliability of DSS data storage are ensured by a set of different methods. To assess the efficiency of new methods, it is convenient to use software tools that simulate the operation of DSS. The purpose of this work is to study the existing software simulators of DSS to assess the potential of their use. The study is based on the analysis of several software simulators that model the operation of DSS. The analysis took into account such parameters as the choice of the redundancy introduction method, the data placement method, the data recovery algorithm after failure, and the choice of storage architecture. The results of the study show that simulators offer a wide range of options for modeling fault tolerance, but some of them demonstrate greater efficiency in some scenarios. A generalized structural diagram of the simulators is built, revealing the features of the architecture and principles of operation. The CR-SIM simulator has the greatest functionality, but its source codes and executable file are not available. Simulators with open source code do not have a flexible architecture for their expansion with new methods. The сonclusion is made about the need to develop a new simulator in the form of an open source software tool, the architecture of which is designed for its expansion. Such a simulator will allow testing new developments in the field of fault tolerance enhancement technologies.

  • A fuzzy comparison method for managing the functioning of an organizational system

Modern digitalization processes involve the use of intelligent systems at key stages of information processing. Given that the data available for intelligent analysis in organizational systems are often fuzzy, there is a problem of comparing the corresponding units of information with each other. There are several known methods for such a comparison. In particular, for random fuzzy variables with known distribution laws, the degree of coincidence of these distribution laws can be used as a criterion for the correspondence of one random variable to another. However, this approach does not have the necessary flexibility required to solve practical problems. The approach we propose allows you to compare fuzzy, fuzzy and clear, as well as clear and clear data. The paper will provide an example illustrating this approach. The material presented in the study was initially focused on managing organizational systems in education. However, its results can be extended to other organizational systems.

  • Supporting decision-making in emergency risk conditions based on the analysis of unstructured data

There is often a need to analyze unstructured data when assessing the risk of emergency situations. Traditional analysis methods may not take into account the ambiguity of information, which makes them insufficiently effective for risk assessment. The article proposes the use of a modified hierarchy process analysis method using fuzzy logic, which allows for more effective consideration of uncertainties and subjective assessments in the process of analyzing emergency risks. In addition, such methods allow for consideration of not only quantitative indicators, but also qualitative ones. This, in turn, can lead to more informed decisions in the field of risk management and increased preparedness for various situations. The integration of technologies for working with unstructured data in the process of assessing emergency risks not only increases the accuracy of forecasting, but also allows for adapting management strategies to changing conditions.

  • Organizational and technological approaches in the process of designing objects to be reconstructed

The article discusses the issues of organizational and technological approaches in the design of facilities to be reconstructed. During the operation of buildings, the reliability of their structures is subject to cyclical changes. The dynamics of loads, as well as damage resulting from operation, can have a significant impact on the strength and durability of construction facilities. The reasons for the technical inspection during reconstruction are analyzed. The diagnosis of structural failure is analyzed. • Organizational and technological solutions for identifying the interdependencies between the flow parameters and the cost of work

The article discusses the relationship between the parameters of the construction flow and the cost of work. A key aspect of the process of increasing profits, minimizing costs and improving the characteristics of products is the justification of the timing of the construction of facilities. Estimating the duration and cost of work enables the decision maker to come to more informed business decisions. The estimated construction estimate does not include all the organizational, technological and financial costs of the construction company. The costs of planned downtime of performers and the front of work, improving the quality of construction products, etc. are not taken into account. The primary task is to systematize the correlation of dependencies between the parameters of the construction flow, namely the duration, number of participants and individual stages of construction work, their intensity and degree of workload of performers, and on the other hand, the cost of construction with different approaches to organization construction processes and works. Relationships and dependencies between flow parameters and costs have been established.

  • The influence of the human factor on the accuracy of plan execution in project management in construction

In an era when knowledge is becoming the foundation of a company's success, skillful human factor management is of great importance. The employee is the main generator of knowledge, skills and abilities. Personnel is an indispensable element in the production system, as nothing happens without human involvement. A person and their qualifications become a key determinant of the efficiency of the production process. The perception of employees through the prism of capital capable of generating profits is being introduced as a concept into daily management practice. However, the stereotypes that have formed over the years about the benefits of using cheap, unskilled labor as an easily replaceable component cannot be quickly overcome. The effective functioning of the production system and the achievement of its goals require the introduction of modern human factor management concepts that respond to the challenges occurring in the internal and external environment of modern organizations. Today, it is becoming necessary to take into account the problems associated with quantitative and qualitative transformations of human resources. The qualification of personnel is an important factor in the accurate execution of the production plan, which is confirmed by empirical research data.
