An experimental investigation of two low-noise amplifiers is carried out. The first amplifier contains one cascade on the HMC374 chip, the second LNA contains two cascades on the same chip. Amplitude and amplitude-frequency characteristics of both amplifiers are obtained, a comparison with the passport characteristics is made. The amplifiers correspond to the passport data for all parameters, except saturation power at the upper boundary frequency.

An experimental study of two instances of low-noise amplifiers of the range 1.5-2.0 GHz is carried out. The following results were obtained: the amplification gain varies from 24 to 37 dB in the frequency range; the maximum output power was not less than 10 mW (10 dBm); the compression point of 1 dB is achieved with an input power of minus 16 dBm. To illustrate the measurement results, two amplitude-frequency characteristics and an amplitude characteristic of the second specimen are given. The main element of the studied amplifier is a chip of the type MAAL-007304.

An experimental study of the resolving power of the rank detector of single pulses was carried out. Experimental dependences of the probability of detection- resolution of two pulses on the time position from the delay between the pulse fronts-are obtained. It is shown that the probability of correct detection - resolution reaches the value P101 = 0.5 with a signal-to-noise ratio = 2 for a delay between fronts of about 9,7 μs, and for a signal-to-noise ratio of 4 with a delay between fronts of about 9,1 μs.
