The article deals with topical issues of the formation of new criteria for the use of land resources and the prospects for their implementation in the land fund management process at the municipal level. The analysis of the main trends in the modernization of land legislation in terms of the transition from the division of land into categories to territorial zoning, as the basis of the land management system and the adjustment of their legal regime of use, was carried out. The features of the mechanism for preparing the technical plans of linear objects, including those located in several cadastral districts, are considered. The main problems arising in the process of preparing technical plans for linear objects and the factors affecting them are formulated. The problem of the lack of a sufficient regulatory framework in the field of regulating relations arising from the state cadastral registration of linear real estate objects is indicated. It justifies the need to refine the requirements for the technical plan of the property, namely, the linear object, as well as the form of the technical plan itself. Suggestions were made to optimize the mechanism for preparing technical plans for linear objects.

The legal status of water bodies implies special measures aimed at preserving and preventing negative processes within the boundaries of a water body. A zone with a special mode of use is the territory, within the boundaries of which the mode of using the object for the purpose of protection and (or) to protect the environment is established. In modern geodesy, special satellites are used that are part of the global positioning system. The object is tied to the existing geodetic network, the identification marks are laid in a minimal amount, then aerial photography is performed and the photoplans are “stitched”. The emergence of electronic and unmanned measuring instruments during a complex of geodetic works greatly facilitated the work of geodetic engineers, allowing them to increase the productivity and accuracy of work performed when using such instruments.
