Architectural aspects of sports and recreation buildings and structures of the largest universities in the South of Russia
Incoming article date: 13.04.2025The article provides an analysis of the architectural aspects of sports and recreation buildings and structures of universities in the Southern Federal District (Rostov Region, Krasnodar Territory, Republic of Crimea) and Stavropol Territory, united in the framework of the study by the concept of "South of Russia". The classification of sports and recreation facilities at the universities under study is carried out. Some functional, spatial and planning features of sports buildings and facilities, sports and recreation facilities, student sanatoriums, sanatoriums, student polyclinics at universities in the South of Russia have been identified, which can serve as a basis for developing principles of architectural modernization of these facilities.
