Contemporary trends of development of investment activity in the depressive region (on the example of the Chechen Republic)
Incoming article date: 05.11.2014Relevance of a subject of research locates importance of investment into economic space, are being one of instruments of economic development as Russia and so its regions. Is the main trend of investment activity at the level of Russia, modernization of the economic system requires large-scale investment and revealed heterogeneity of these processes, depending on the regions. The main objective in research put identification of the main tendencies which are observed in investment activity in the depressive region – the Chechen Republic, and determination of the main competitive advantages existing at the subject for formation of favorable investment climate and activation of investment processes. As a result of research had the positive changes happening in investment activity in the Chechen Republic, which are expressed in growth of investments, change of structure of investment with prevalence of investments in it at the expense of non-budgetary sources, increase in investment activity are revealed and the complex of actions applied in the Republic to involvement of both foreign, and Russian investors is also considered. The author allocated the factors giving the chance to create in the Republic competitive economic spaces, and also the advantages allowing to create favorable investment climate in the region. Having used in work various scientific methods (groups and comparison, the analysis, statistical methods, graphic receptions) the author came to a conclusion that having used the complex of actions and competitive advantages which are available in the Chechen Republic, perhaps activation of investment activity and attraction of investments, allowing to overcome depressiveness of regional economy.
